Friends of Music

Friends of Music is a ministry that supports the liturgical music program at St. Paul's and its outreach into the New York City community. Each week, our Music Ministry presents extraordinary music to enhance our services of worship. Our beautiful sanctuary, located near Lincoln Center, offers a space for people of all religions to join together in experiencing the art of music through St. Paul's many concert series. With a strong commitment to supporting emerging artists, our ministry provides opportunities for students at The Juilliard School, Fordham University, Manhattan School of Music, and more. Find out how you can support our programs and become a part of our music history!

Noel in November for a Joyous December!

On Friday, November 9 at 7 pm, the Music Ministry at St. Paul's will host "Noel in November for a Joyous December," a benefit concert and reception to support the 2018 Christmas Music Programs. Every Christmas Eve, members of St. Paul's Choirs join the St. Paul Orchestra for a special concert at 11 pm followed by Midnight Mass. The evening is live streamed through Facebook and last year reached 12,000 people worldwide. We hope you will consider supporting our efforts this year so that we can continue to impact as many people as possible through our music.

This event will feature a performance by the Philharmonic Musicians and Friends, followed by "Stories of the Philharmonic," a reception with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and festive desserts.
A minimum donation of $100 per person is required to attend. Donation levels include: Shepherd ($100+), Angel ($500+), Wondrous Gift ($1,000+), and Shining Star ($2,500+). All donors will be recognized in our Christmas Eve Booklet, and donations are tax deductible.

To RSVP and donate, click here! Donations can also be made at the Welcome Center with cash, check, or credit card; or by mail to Valerie Shondel at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle. Thank you for supporting our Music Ministry!
