Hello All!
Mustard Seed Guild is trying to expand our presence on the internet! We have a few things to tell you about, and hope that you will check them all out, spread the word, and even get more involved in helping out.
New Website
That's right. We have our very own, new website now: http://www.mustardseedguild.org/
Please come check it out, and let all of your friends and family know about it as well. It is still a work in progress, so we plan on making changes, additions, and improvements to it in the future. But for now, it is a great place to find out a little bit more about us, learn the details about upcoming Events, and learn how you can help (by contacting us, or by donating). There are also individual fundraising pages for the team members going on the trip ti Nicaragua in August.
If anyone is interested in helping with the website, be it design or in writing content, please respond to this email. We are always looking for more help! If you have been on a trip in the past and want to write something about your experiences, send it to us, and we will put it on the website! Feel free to include pictures!
Facebook
If you are on Facebook, please "like" us, and tell your friends and family to "like" us too! Search for "Mustard Seed Guild" on Facebook to find our page, OR go to our website and click on the "Find us on Facebook" icon. We have not done much with the Facebook page yet, but we plan on using it more and more as we get more "members". It will be another place to find out about upcoming events, post pictures of recent events, and to just share with all of you what we are up to. It is also a great way to spread the word about our fundraising events to large numbers of people very quickly.
Thank you all for your continued interest and support of Mustard Seed Guild! With your help, we hope to reach more people; the more that we can reach, the more good we can do for the children at the Hogar Belen Orphanges in Nicaragua.
Take care, and we hope to see you all on the internet!

Our parish has sponsored several mission trips to an orphanage in Nicaragua that serves abandoned and disabled children. Each year, parish volunteers travel to Nicaragua for a week to bring needed supplies, and to work at the home with the staff in assisting the children. The orphanage is directed by Mustard Seed Communities, an international Catholic organization based in Jamaica (founded by Fr. Gregory Ramkissoon). To find out how you can be part of the Mustard Seed Guild, please contact mustardseedguildny@gmail.com.
